Overview
Dragon Ball Heroes is played with physical cards. The player puts a card(s) down on the arcade cabinet where there's a special surface to read the cards. After the cards are placed, the character specific cards show up in the game to battle it out. The game also uses player cards to keep track of the players data so wins, losses etc.
DBH was the first piece of Dragon Ball related media to introduce Super Saiyan 3 Future Trunks,Super Saiyan Bardock, and Chilled an ancestor of Frieza's family. As well as being able to play as characters from the Dragon Ball universe, the player can also play as just basically an unnamed character from a race from the Dragon Ball universe i.e. Saiyan, Namekian, a Buu, or a new Frieza type character each with their own different classes.
