    Does this game absolutely need the L and R buttons to play? 
     
    My DS doesn't have working triggers and I'd love to pick up Dragon Quest 9 and sink into some classic JRPG gaming.

    Its only job is to move the camera at different angles but you don't really need to control the camera at all.

    I mean, how did you manage to break a DS!?  You can shoot one those things with a .22 and it'd still work!

    The L and R buttons on the DS Lite are notorious for spontaneously breaking. Heh. It was one of the main reasons I upgraded to a DSi when I did, as the triggers are far better.
