I know I'm a terrible person but I was maybe considering getting some of it. At this point it would most likely be the weapons stuff but if I enjoy the game enough I may get the quest stuff too. If anybody could lend some insight I'd appreciate it

Capcom makes an ambitious undertaking with this 2012 Open World Action-RPG.
So how is the dlc?
@Sackmanjones: Its not great so far, the quests are just to find hidden tokens scattered around the area and the weapons are weak other than having specific boosts against specific monsters (ok for very low level players possibly but not worth it really), i'm hoping future DLC is better, there are rumours that some DLC may be Capcom game themed pawns to recruit which would be pretty sweet (a Dante from DMC for instance).
@Sackmanjones said:That is quite disappointing. If your gonna give us dlc on the disc I say at least make it good. Anyway thanks for the tip I definitely won't be buying it unless they discount it to like a buck@Totori Any of it or just weapons? You've been all over dragons dogma boards so I'll believe youThe weapons are not very good, the stats are worse then the starting stuff you can buy at the main town. The quests are just "collect this thing" quests.
@Sackmanjones said:I think the quests are neat. All they are is fetch quests but actually figuring out HOW to get to some of the items can be a challenge. The weapons you speak of are weak because they are geared towards specific enemies. If you use them against said enemies they add significant damage multipliers. Also the hairstyles pack is well worth it to me. The captain armor you get is really powerful and helps early game. Also some of the DLC hair I really like.@Totori Any of it or just weapons? I'd pay a few bucks to fight some classic Monster Hunter monsters, if Big Boss got to grenade Rathalos in Peace Walker then surely the Arisen should get a go at it.

@MethodMan008: And Dante. I mean C'mon they ripped the Stinger animation out of DMC and put it in the game!
Totally.. I mean, this could be the coolest fan service DLC of all time..
I don't know how Resident Evil characters would work in context, but I would totally buy them.
I would buy a ton of Street Fighter pawns..
If any Phoenix Wright or Ghost Trick characters could work I'd buy them.
Arthur could be gdlk.
Vergil would be awesome with Dante.
And that is just looking at the box art of UMVC3. :P
