I'm fascinated on what this would be. Do you think it's a business simulator or is it the more likely mini game collection where you try to pin the beard on the beard.
It looks like a full retail release .
Also they better quick look this.
Game » consists of 8 releases. Released Oct 14, 2014

I second the notion for quick look, I have no idea either what the game is, and I am pretty sure I don't want to play it.
My guess is that it is like a rip-off of Cabela's hunting games, except you can only shoot ducks. My hope is that it is a 3D platformer where you play as a duck collecting beards.
I would imagine it would be a duck hunting game based around using Duck calls and other hunting things their company Duck Commander makes, basically a big ad for more of their shit. But then again it does say based on the A&E show so maybe its a business management game.
@coolarman: ahha that was basically the first joke I thought of too.
According to the achievements if looks like a hunting and RACING game. You know. For all the racing they do. Then again maybe they know what their audience likes.
The fact that it's a full retail release including current gen is surprising to me. Will ign do a graphics comparison between the two versions? AAA game season is already in full effect.
My guess: it's a modern day duck hunt
Cabela's knock-off, I bet.
They should have made a tycoon sim that has nothing to do with their duck call business or whatever, and instead you focus on the Duck Dynasty brand. Licensing, merchandising, contract negotiations, sponsorships, PR damage control, etc. Eventually you would launch a Duck Dynasty game console running DuckOS, and recursively make the Duck Dynasty video game in the Duck Dynasty video game.
I think the most significant thing I heard about this show is where one of the guys - its main guy, I think - said something homophobic and the network didn't like it.
Anyway, the game will probably be terrible shovelware that will nonetheless sell far more than it should. It will probably sell more copies than Shovel Knight and that's just cruel, unusual, unjust, and wrong in every way imaginable.
@saturdaynightspecials: They already made that.
@saturdaynightspecials: They already made that.
Well fuck, what am I doing here?
@corruptedevil: Lets cancel this Ducky Dynasty game and get Nintendo to make us another Duck Hunt... "please understand" Nintendo!
@wickedcobra03: Oh, I don't know. I think a Vinny and Alex quick look of this would be pretty great if they did it.
@bigjeffrey: Some parts of that looks surprisingly nice
It's a Dynasty Warriors game starring Donald, Daffy, and Howard the duck(s). This will pave the way for the DC Vs Marvel game everyone was hoping for.
Could this be the first full retail next gen shovelware game?
who knows it could be fucking awesome, also i think that spiderman game was pretty terrible
@bigjeffrey: Oh no..... There HAS to be a QL of this.

Vinny gotta be in this QL.

That's about the extent I've heard of the show as well.
And if this sells more than Shovel Knight I will be VERY disappointed.
I seem to know a bit more about the show than a lot of people here it seems (unfortunately)
Basically it's a reality show that heavily and purposefully panders to the redneck/republican/christian people of, to put it frankly, 'murica.
and yes, it's terrible.
According to this: http://nintendoeverything.com/activision-releasing-a-duck-dynasty-game-on-3ds/
This is a simulation game in which players assume the role of the “new guy” at Duck HQ with the Duck Dynasty clan. Players explore the town of Duckville, perform tasks for various characters, and engage in fetching and hunting mini-games. Some “cartoony” hunting games involve shooting various animals: targeting flying ducks from a first-person perspective; shooting armadillos, rats, and roaches.

Article has a link to a rumor on French site and the Newegg listing. Couldn't find any info about it anywhere else, so this description is not to be taken as concrete. The rumor mill is heating up!

I unfortunately live in a rural area and I unfortunately am currently employed at wal-mart. My mother's husband also unfortunately likes this piece of crap show.
It is all rather unfortunate. Needless to say, I do not belong in this town.

ya, that's all I know about it too. Since I live in Austin TX I always thought it was weird, but I figured it's a corporate political thing. Although there are some people here who like it, but I always assumed it was ironic.
Although, I really don't know anything about the show so maybe it's not ironic, I don't know.
Rich people getting richer is all I'm seeing when it comes to this show, none the less.
Eh it's the new Jersey Shore but with a different demo, they'll be gone from your airwaves and memories by 2016 at the latest but in the meantime they are going to squeeze every last dime out of this phenomenon by reaching into every medium there is. I'm sure there are Duck Dynasty books, t-shirts, cozies, branded condoms, ect.
The game is centered around spreading racist and homophobic rhetoric to shill more merchandise at Walmart. Possibility of blowing on a phallic object to trick ducks into mating with them so they can shoot at them with their big guns. You know, promoting 'Murican values. I don't know why the author of the Wiki felt the need to add "hit game" in the description.

It was @bigjeffrey so I think it was ironic.
"Hit game based on the American reality television series that portrays the lives of the Robertson family."
"Hit game"
Doesn't a game have to be out and have had sales to be a hit? Like, many many sales?
I don't know why the author of the Wiki felt the need to add "hit game" in the description.
It's a typo, he just missed the 'S' at the start.
@saturdaynightspecials: They already made that.

They...actually called it, Redneck Empire...wow.
Those look like environments, that would be pretty snazzy in a good FPS or a 3rd Person Shooter...and I doubt this'll be either of those.
@bigjeffrey: naw that's a movie tie In game. It's a close cousin of shovelware though. Also that had a budget and wasn't terrible. Just not great.
Have we had a carnival games this generation?
