So I hate Audiosurf and Rez. Think I'd like this?

I hate the gameplay and "music" in Rez and I don't enjoy the playing part of Audiosurf. However, listening to what they said on the Bombcast, it sounds like a game I'd love. I'm into skill-based shooters like Stardust HD and Geometry Wars and they like to describe this as having "no skill an e-sport." Of course, then they said there was a demo and they were wrong about that. So yeah...

I haven't play it but it doesn't appear to be very rhythmic in nature, at least in the same way as Audiosurf and Rez. You should probably just try the demo.

I can't say that I would enjoy your company sir.

Watch the Quick Look. If the insane visuals aren't a total turn off for you, check it out. The difficulty amps up pretty quickly and requires fast reaction times on top of being able to interpret what the hell is happening on screen.

Have I missed something? Everyone keeps saying 'try the demo', but I didn't see it on the store. No doubt the demo will magically appear as soon as the Plus discount expires.

There is no demo if yo hate audio surf and Rez you will not like this I would guess. It's much closer to audio surf then Rez.

How can anybody hate Rez?

How can anyone hate Rez!?!?

Download the demo and see for yourself. It's the kind of game that is really hard to explain to people or even convey what makes it fun. You just need to go play it for yourself to see if you'll be into it.

The trophies in the game are devious the 2nd one where you have to differentiate the tones since you are colour blind seems impossible. Really cool game

I know nothing of this game, but the comments in this thread make it sound like a console version of Beat Hazard.

@AlexW00d naa nothing like beat hazard and console versions of that game exist. It's a tunnel game like tempest where you tap the a bottom to hook enemies. That's the basic idea and then there are mutations and variants every level. The basic principle stays the same press x behind enemies and then pass by or close to, or through them. It's hard to explain but t starts simply and evolves ino chaos
