Poll What aspect of E3 do you enjoy the most? (108 votes)

    Press Conferences. 64%
    Show Floor Coverage. 4%
Ancillary Opinion Pieces (Pocasts & Such). 30%
    Other. 1%
    I do not enjoy E3. 2%

For me, E3 could just be press conferences all week long. Platform holders and publishers putting up a show. I'll never understand why only EA and Ubisoft do it. Once a year, gaming is a live event! Why don't all publishers major and minor participate?

What's your favorite aspect of E3?

Come for the Press Conferences; stay for the live E3 Giant Bombcasts.

The game announcements, those that you dont expect to be there, the ones were kept a secret and didnt get leaked. Also the E3 Live shows + Jeff's Pre-E3 LA drive

I think the conferences are probably the most exciting part, but GB's after hours shows are easily the best thing about E3. ALso the drive to E3 broadcast was fun.

I watch a bunch the stage demos Gamespot did as well.

:( This topic makes me realise how little I actually do enjoy E3. Lots of announcements that have already been announced; lack of sleep; a lot of people getting angry over things; and even though the GB coverage was enjoyable, I still would have preferred a regular GB schedule.

That's not to say that there weren't any nice surprises (there definitely were), the problem is that E3 is mainly just fluff.

I enjoy the press conferences but I'm more excited about seeing the 5 - 10 minute game demos on IGN, Rev3 games, etc.

Press conferences. I basically just want to hear about game announcements, and then see some actual gameplay demos. I like the podcasts and stuff, but I like the normal podcasts away from E3 even more.

Press events. The actual convention might as well not even occur, from my perspective, since I get all I want out of the Monday events

It's all about the gameplay demo footage for me. Does that count as show floor footage?
