The delicious dairy drink that comes from mammals. Some games use it as a power up / health boost, while others use it as a resource. Substitutes can be comprised of rice, soy, and apparently, hemp.

A mortar and pestle are used to crush and mix ingredients in the crafting of medicines, poisons, or food. They are often made of stone, wood, or ceramic materials.
Wet soil. Mud usually appears as a simple aesthetic in video games but when implemented in gameplay it usually works in a way that slows characters down.
Mushroom is the familiar term used to describe a gilled fungus which may or may not bear a stem. Mushrooms are the "fruit" of spore bearing fungi.
Musical Notes are used in many games, but are primarily known in the Banjo-Kazooie series. In Banjo-Kazooie they are collected to gain access to more areas in the game. In Banjo-Tooie they are collected to learn more moves.

An opal is a mineraloid similar to quartz that comes in many shapes and colors.
A type of rock that contains metals or other minerals.
An enclosed compartment for heating, baking or drying.
An artistic work that has been created by applying pigment to a canvas, often via the use of a brush.
Pants (a.k.a. trousers) are a type of leg covering.
Paper is a thin material made of plant fibres, used to write or print upon. In terms of Rock, Paper, Scissors; it defeats rock, but is defeated by scissors.
Paring, or parrying, daggers were popularized in the late Middle Ages in Europe. Wielding in the off-hand, these blades were less about inflicting damage and more about deflecting it.

A phylactery is a magical item that protects the soul that resides in it. It is usually used by liches, but other types of creatures may have one. For a lich, the phylactery must be destroyed to permanently kill it.

A body that orbits around a star, maintains hydrostatic equilibrium, and clears its area of other celestial bodies.
Armor made from metal plates designed to protect a user from injury. Usually more beneficial than armor made from chain links or leather.
Platinum is a precious metal, gray or silver in color, and is often used in jewelry and medical utensils. In games it is often used as currency. Typically, platinum is worth more than gold or silver.
A palm sized card used to play a variety of card games. Cards come in a deck normally consisting of 52 different cards.
