    Has anyone experienced some players winning in odd ways?

    I just played a game against a guy named "FRED", I was leading the whole time, he did not even show up on the map after 30 seconds and then with the ending line in sight he appears out of the blue and crosses the line before yellow fruit bat.

    maybe it was a bug or something or really bad lag (everybody knows the online Wii function isn't that great)

    Actually this game is extremely stable, i have yet to play a race with lag just like Mario Kart Wii.

    It always could have been a bug/exploit, not sure of which precise course it was but it was one of the Finland ones.

    Guess that is possible, not quite sure how the game handles servers though, but if it is as Mario Kart its a player host system.
