    Fairfield is a fictional city in the real world state of Pennsylvania. The city has become completely overrun with Infected and the survivors must fight their way out of the city. Mercy Hospital is thought to be one safe zone left in Fairfield but it is soon found that the hospital too is overrun by zombies. Fairfield is the site of the first campaign of Left 4 Dead, No Mercy.
