I got the note of Pardon and the Mark of Caesar, so I did as they said and went to the camp so I could take the barge to their fort or whatever. When I got to the Cottonwood Cove site, I was attacked immediately. I did have Boone with me, and I attempted to enter the area again after having told him to wait elsewhere but to no avail. Anyone have an idea of what I'm doing wrong or how to approach this? Is it broken or am I doing something wrong? I haven't killed any Legions since getting the note, and leaving Boone at the Strip doesn't matter. AUGH.

Try jumping 4 times while in third person.

Did you have NCR armor on you?

Close, I just told him to wait where ever I was on the strip at the time. Should I kick is ass to the curb? If I do can I get him back afterwards? "

You don't have to send Boone all the way back to Novac if he's one of your companions for this quest. Just have him wait right outside the camp! He'll still be there when you're ready for him ;)

I've read that if you put on a community armor, like the Legion armor, they won't attack you. Haven't tried it out myself, but that's what i've read on the interwebs from people who have played the game so far.

First time I went with boone and got attacked. So I reloaded and told him and Rex to go to lucky 38. After that I was fine. Make sure you're wearing nothing NCR affiliated.

For anyone else with the problem; I told Boone to part ways and things are now fine with the Legion.
