I remember playing Faxanadu when I was like 10 years old, passing it, and feeling like Hulk Hogan when he defeated Andre the Giant at Wrestlemania.

Sure it uses a pretty shitty password save system, but who cares, you get to kill enemies that look like giant eyeballs with legs.

yea that was a great game especially the elves! lol and i love being the saviour of a kingdom, but not as good as the old super scope games! soo much fun

Faxanadu is definitely one of the best games for the NES, and I would love to see a virtual console release, so that folk who didn't experience its mastery the first time around will be able to do so now!

I still have Faxanadu in my closet but I can't play it because my NES is broken. I'd love for it to be on VC.
