A ladder is used to gain access to higher or lower ground. Also used as a weapon in most wrestling games.
A laser is a focused beam of light, invisible through the air without some other medium (such as smoke) to illuminate it. Lasers are often used in video games as part of a targeting system, or as an offensive weapon in their own right.
This classic plumbing fixture-turned-weapon is a common standby for street fighters and serial-killer-hunting detectives everywhere.
A storage utility usually used for items. In video games however, they have a different use: hiding.
From an item container in Final Fight, to Roper's favorite weapon in Double Dragon, and even an obstacle in Street Fighter II's elusive bonus round, the barrel is one multi-faceted game object.
A pistol is a very basic hand-held side arm, usually used in case of low ammo or tricky situations. They have appeared in many types of games.
A vehicle used to escort Law Enforcement Officers, carries weapons and supplies for the police, and criminals can be locked up in the back.
A weapon that launches rockets.
Sandwiches are usually meat, cheese and/or vegetables placed between two slices of bread. They are featured in many video games, usually to replenish health.
A stick with a curved blade at the end. Good for cutting grass or chopping heads.
The most powerful weapon at short range. Effective against Zombies, Nazis, Demons, etc. Videogame shotguns tend to have exaggerated inaccuracy at long range- real life shotguns are still fairly accurate over a decent distance, while videogame shotguns rarely go more than fifteen feet before becoming completely ineffective.
They are meant for hard labor but are often used for violence.
The weapon of choice for accuracy at long distances. The sniper rifle's slow rate of fire makes it ineffective for close range combat, but its high calibre round ensures that it inflicts maximum damage against the target.
A tank is generally a heavily armoured and armed, tracked vehicle designed to be at the front of a combined forces attack.
A television set is a device used to view moving images usually accompanied by sound. They often appear in video games and scenery but sometimes have more practical applications.
A round generally rubber object used to support and transport motor vehicles. Also used as throwing objects in certain fighting games.
A train is a series of connected vehicles that move along a single or double railed track.
A container for trash. Often an in-game breakable object, filled with useful items/magic.
A gun turret is weapon mount designed to protect the user or mechanisms of a weapon system. The weapon itself is not a turret, but rather the protective housing of the user or mechanisms of the weapon system.
A very commonly found, rapid-fire weapon.
In video games such as Shenmue and Grand Theft Auto players can use vending machines to buy something such as a soda, or a capsule toy. In other games, vending machines may simply be used as scenery, and may occasionally spit out a soda, or some sort of object.
