The Formula V8, along with its slower counterpart Formula XR, were added in Live for Speed S2 due to high demand for open-wheel race cars. The Formula V8 was once considered LFS's fastest car, and requires smooth input and control. Due to the addition of two BMW formula-style cars, though, the Formula V8 settles for second-fastest these days, coming up a few seconds slower than the BMW Sauber F1.
