The review embargo is supposed to be lifted 6am friday. While I am still confident the game will at least be a good, if not great. I just hope the ps3 and 360 versions arent botched, I remember the interview saying you won't notice the difference that much. I do hope they are right, I can handle low FPS but constant screen tears when rotating the camera (like in the ps3 version of Wolfenstein: the new order) nope, that will kill all the enjoyment. So what do you guys think?
review predictions...
Creative assembly doesn't have the best record for releasing polished products upon release. Neither does Sega in general. Just something to keep in mind.
The pre-order bonus gets a 10/10.
For me, all pre-order bonuses are inherently 0/10 for being a terrible practice in general.
@veektarius: AI being buggy will 100% kill this game, and yeah, CA is known for buggy AI. On the other hand, this being a much tighter game and smaller game, it'll allow them to polish it up more easily than an RTS.
Steve Burns of VideoGamer UK was tweeting about it just not using its name, instead calling it the space-based hide and seek game. The things he was saying where positive though, hopefully it's good throughout. All the gameplay videos for it made it seem cool, unsure about the human enemies though, but I suppose it's difficult to make a 15+ hour game interesting with just one enemy.

On an idea-level, this. So hard. I hate it so much I want to pre-order it but at the same time I HATE IT SO MUCH and will never do that.
The game? A 7-ish score all around probably. I really have no hopes for a new Alien-game even if it looks great on paper.
@mb: Eh I think the Dark Souls/DSII Pre Order stuff has been fine (i.e. free soundtrack, other random stuff); though in general I agree with you. Much like non-expansion pack DLC even though the concept itself is generally bad some good occasionally comes out of it.
Let's put it this way; I've was watching someone on Twitch stream the game for like an hour and a half and i did not see ANY hint of the Alien. There was terrible first person stealth with awful human enemy A.I. though. Also, not scary at all, at least what i saw of it.
I'm gonna say 5/10 or 2 stars.

This is the correct answer.
Depends on how much free time you have.
I predict mostly 8s out of ten. (or 4 stars) I think the fact that it's an Alien game that doesnt invovle killing dozens of things with high powered weapons will make people overlook it's technical problems, and I think fans of horror games like this are used to repetition.
Sigourney Weaver is going to give an Oscar caliber performance in the pre-order DLC. Available at launch for $59.99 USD.
