4 Mics?

I remember it often being mentioned on the Bombcast that they only have four microphones to record with. That's why Dave and Drew do not appear regularly and whenever there is a guest, someone has to sit out. Despite this, this week's Bombcast featured six people. What exactly was going on? I know Matt Roarie sounded like he was speaking into a distant mic, but Alex could be heard quite clearly. Is it possible that we'll see a more flexible podcast panel in the future?

Maybe, but I'm pretty sure they just recently got 4 mics.  Before, before last week's, I think they only had 2 or something.

They just have someone sit out so it's not a mess of fucking voices. I'm sure they just fucking leaned in. Really, though, I don't give a shit.
