Bombcast Watitng Room

No, but they've actually begun to do them on Tuesday mornings, like really. Ever since they've been doing the live sound effects and all of that. They say their current setup allows them to have a quicker turnaround, and so they're doing them like that to have as much current news and stuff possible.

whats the odds on the guys starting the video stream of the bombcast, when they get back from E3?

This might be a little off-topic but I'm really looking forward to 8-4 Play's E3 hypetrain.

The Beastcast is scheduled for 12:00, and now it's 12:08 and it's not up. This is a real bummer.

I get that it could sometimes be hard to get it out perfectly on schedule (observe the Bombcast), but if you can't get it out on schedule (for whatever reason, technical or otherwise), don't schedule it all.

Is today the day of live Bombcast?

If that's the case, I wonder if they're going to start recording them at the tail-end of their Tuesdays.

I hope they're recording it today. So many E3 leaks.

Argh, been too spoiled by the recent early bombcasts and now I'm getting antsy that one might just be "on time".

So does the Closed Envelope podcast take the role of the standard Bombcast this week? Or will we get both?

Edit: I'm reminded now that last year they released the nightly shows as podcast episodes too. So I think, yes, the Closed Envelope and the nightly shows will fill in for the Bombcast this week. Like how the end of year deliberations episodes stand in for the Bombcast between Christmas and New Years.

These audio versions of the staff impressions podcasts would be nice to have rn

Brad did say to expect a BC later than usual. I guess that means WAY later at this point.

@chekhonte They have never missed a Tuesday, and probably wouldn't justfor a vacation. Even when Ryan passed they had one on schedule.

What did Brad mean by the podcast being delayed by the arrival of The Truck?

all their stuff showed up from E3. Someone has to offload it. Sounds like Jason is doing a lot of that work.

I am assuming he meant that one or more people who are going to appear on the Bombcast this week had to help unload The Truck. And because it arrived during the scheduled recording time, they had to delay it. The Truck is run by an outside company, and I am assuming they had a limited window to unload it before The Truck had to leave.

In the past they have talked about how The Truck sometimes has it's own agenda and will show up whenever the F it wants.

Jason later tweeted saying he would take care of unloading and mentioned a game he wanted them to rep on his behalf. So maybe the warning about a delayed Bombcast was announced too soon.
