More Ben Pack love.

I'm sure many of you have posted this same post a million times, but I like this Ben guy a lot. His game taste aligns right with mine so far and he seems pretty sharp. I know Giant Bomb is a 'personality' led website, where the people that work there have to have traits that comedians have and the guy seems funny as well. His laugh is kind of goofy, he like utters out a "Uh!" Yeah I'm excited for the "young lions" of the Giant Bomb!

Ben was great on the bombcast. I enjoyed his comments on Persona 5 and fighting games in particular.

Jeff perfectly set up an ace of bass reference that he totally whiffed on the last podcast so FUCK that guy.

Always enjoyed Ben back in his Whiskey Media intern days. Awesome to see him back in the fold, now front and center!

I think it will be a while for it to not be bizarre/slightly jarring that he's actually part of the crew now on equal footing because I still remember him as one of the interns.

He has the kind of laid back attitude most of the Bombcast has so he'll fit in perfectly.

Also I know we got two new hires but one is for the east crew however we lost two (Dan and Drew) from the West, is Ben the only hire for the West?

I was a little worried but I think he's doing quite well.

I've been following Ben 'Ben Pack' Pack on twitter (and also podburglars) since he was a Whiskey intern so I was elated to see that he was one of the new hires.

I too, am glad for his addition to the bombcast crew.

But for real, I like Ben a lot. He seems like a lovable goof and I'm happy he's on board. I wasn't really around here back when he was an intern, so he's new to me. Can't wait to see him in more stuff.

Just watched UPF and I gotta say, I really fuckin' like this Ben guy.

Despite a lot of people's reactions to this week's UPF, I thoroughly enjoyed it! Ben was pretty much into every game played, even if a lot of people aren't fans of seeing said games on streams.

As long as he keeps that filthy DOTA talk off the air, there shouldn't be any problems.

Ben has been a fantastic addition to the the GBW staff. His first UPF was a whole lot of fun with him and Jeff playing Pokemon Puzzle League and them talking about Pokemon as a whole. Perhaps also thanks to him and us, Brad is now more aware of the many different Pokemon out there.

His laugh also rivals Brad's for best laugh on the site.

Ben is funny, Demo Derby was funny.

I love Ben's mustache, he looks like a WW1 bi-plane pilot.

I'm gonna miss him though, has anyone heard what's his next step is on Twitter?

Dude was puzzling with Jeff and fighting gaming with Jason while holding a conversation like the whole gaming + talking thing was a myth!

Ben was a great choice and already made GB West a lot more fun within a week.

I do enjoy the commentary of Ben, but man, that vocal roast is something else. It's one of those things that once you notice them, they don't quite stop grinding your gears.

Perhaps I can adapt, somehow.

I feel like a bad person or something because I really can't stand him. Not sure why cuz I love goofy but for whatever reason his brand of it I just find draining. I'm hoping he grows on me tho cuz he's the only person I've genuinely not liked in the past 5 years I've been with the content.

He seems like a nice enough guy, but I don't feel the same connection to him than I do with most of the other GB hosts. Maybe it is an age thing (I don't even know how old he is but I get the impression he is younger than the rest of the crew), but I just have a hard time relating to many of his gaming tastes and other thoughts. And he didn't exactly win me over with the Guns N' Roses comment either...

I still remember Ben from his starring role here.

That Ben really puts the "Giant" in Giant Bomb. Get it?
