 (Sept. 18) - Never one to shy away from controversial policies, San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom has announced he wants to fine grocery and convenience stores that sell sodas and other sugary drinks.

By the way there are two polls on the site.  One asks if the reader approves of the mayor's actions and the other asks if government should regulate these things.  Unsurprisingly, both polls register about 90% no.
