sup with the audio?

I've been behind on listening to the Bombcast.

The only time I can really listen to anything is on my drive to and from work, which is about 40 minutes each way.

So I've been listening to some audiobooks instead of the Bombcast, but I recently finished a book and decided to catch back up on the podcast.

I had about 4-5 episodes to catch up on. In what seems to be EACH one the audio at some point sounds like someone fast-forwarding through an audio CD. In one episode it was like it was almost every minute or so of regular audio, then the skipping, back to regular for a bit, then skipping again, over and over.

What's the deal?

Something wacky happened with the recording process for those episodes. As I've heard it's in the original recording so it can't be fixed. I don't think I've heard it in the last couple of podcasts though. Definitely wasn't in the latest Bombcast.

Some kind of ongoing Audacity issue?

it's been gone over many times and brad is aware of it, technical issue in studio beyond his control. new studio should remedy it.
