Dropdown menus closing when moving cursor down

Using Win10 Firefox 63.0.1. Tried in icognito mode so no extensions running.

When mousing over a dropdown, the box will close unless you move the mouse quickly. If you leisurely move the mouse down, it seems as if the white bar below the selection doesn't register and the dropdown closes.
