Looks like the servers are back up, I set up the club for GB 1. Club name is just Giant Bomb 1, left it with the stock colors and logo for now. Hoping any member of the club can customize that as I don't exactly have much artistic flair. Sent out invites to those currently listed under GB 1 as well.

EDIT: Looks like you can only invite friends at the moment? Sent friend request to those listed and will add them to the club after.

Was going to found the Vinnco racing team. Rock that Vinnco black and golden yellow.

Are we doing names like that, or just sticking with that base model. Although I'd recommend making it "01" or "03" since you can't put a single number on a car I don't think? Can you?

Looking to get into one of these here clubs. psn is tanindigo. Still having crazy problems connecting to the driveclub servers...

Unfortunately I have not been able to connect to the servers even once, despite playing it immediately after it unlocked on the store. I requested and received my refund from Sony this morning, so if you want to free up my spot on the club (GB3) then please feel free to do so. I MAY get this down the road, but the little I played of it pleased me with the handling, but I really wanted to get online with this.

Online stuff seems to be working today. I see a lot of Giant Bomb clubs with only one member. I just started Giant Bomb 2. Search and join. I'll be on for a bit if anyone wants in tonight. We'll get the groups organized later if needed. I'm NMeck702 on PSN.

No good badge options until the club levels up. Nothing bomb like. Deer at lvl 15...

I made a club called Club Med 365. I don't have any friends who play these kinds of games so I'd love to fill my club with Giant Bomb members. just search Club Med 365 I guess, ideally it will be all bombers.

VinnCo is now an open team because, man... networks. Made it open as soon as I could.

So if you need a team or just want to represent a Black, Yellow, and Gold racing team with some wrenches as the club icon down the line, join up and let's race in the interest of moving arcade cabinets with magnets.

I'll be playing this game quite a lot. Haven't liked a racer this much in awhile. Sorry if I missed the initial requests to join, I couldn't connect at all to accept them until now. I just accepted them anyway even if I saw you were in another team already.

Kind of a bummer how limited club icons and paint jobs are in the beginning. I do illustration for a living, and the lack of options is sort of maddening. Also a bummer to see the custom stuff in the early screenshots is just a no show. They were moving and tilting icons and numbers around with transparency in those early screenshots.

Servers are down again. I really hope they sort this out soon, really love playing this game. Its like I can imagine I am on those epic Top Gear road trip episodes

@robotrice: I was able to play multiplayer for about 4 hours today with only minor connection issues so it's getting better.

The offline events are pretty boring, even for a racing geek like me. Last time I had the server connect (finally!) and I raced against 3 others who also did not know the track, so it was destruction derby (without the destruction). I also made a Club, with logo and paintjob and everything, only to find it had reset it to default the next time I started DC. I put some effort in that, man. Fuck this.

@ibeatthestig: Nice! My connection has been really spotty ever since I changed that club stuff this morning so I've yet to be able to race under it. Hopefully I have better luck later today. Been holding off on a lot of tour stuff, and leveling so it could go towards the club. The Mono looks so awesome, definitely ready to grind out a bit if I have to to get that one.
