Franchise games in similar section yes/no?

Should franchise games that were added to 'similar' section be edited? I'm sure on the last bombcast someone said not to add franchise games to similar tab. I seen a few so I edited them, one got approved but the other one rejected and the mod e-mail said it was confusing because i removed game Y (franchise) and added game X (similar). I'm a little confused about this, help :(

Yeah, games in the same franchise shouldn't also be in the "similar" tab. We already know they're similar.

I have seen the franchise games in the similar category ALOT.

Ive been removing franchise games from similar games whenever I see them, which I agree, is a lot. Strange how they got past the moderators in the first place.
