Anybody playing this yet?

Anybody in the beta (which began today I think)? Got opinions to share?

It looks real tempting as a Civilization / Alpha Centauri / Endless Space kinda player, but I have limited experience with GalCiv or similar games such as Master of Orion.

Haven't bought it yet myself, as 50 bucks for an early access game is still kind of a hassle, but I'm not ruling out the possibility yet. As I said, seems interesting

I will be interested in it when it comes out. Stardock makes solid 4X games and Gal Civ 2 is pretty fantastic (albeit a little dense).

I really want to try this game but will hold off until I see / hear more.

To be honest I was a little put off by one of the devs talking about the game on a podcast, I think it was on Three Moves Ahead.

He come off a little big headed... Not damning the game but just made me go Ehhhh I'll check this out later.

I want to jump right on it, but after their last game Elemental, I just can't. That game was plain broke on launch, which was so disheartening.

Me and a few of my friends are super tempted as well. Really just want one person to say it is worth it. If anyone has played let us know!
