I know GAF does this but I'd like to see this trend get started on giant bomb.

Maybe it's just me but I like seeing photos of people's purchases and discussing them? Maybe it's an american thing?

I think it gets people interested in new things they might not have checked out otherwise. Keep it civil, keep it classy, no criticizing others' purchases under any circumstances, and photos must be original, not stock photos. (we can see those anywhere!)

Well? Any interest?    I'll post a few of my recent ones from the last month or two.

They've been around from time to time but they die off and are lost.  It's kind of a fun thing.

This is about it for me this month (I get more than 1 issue of New Scientist a month though...) :

The one perk of the limited edition is it doesn't have that DLC bit printed on the actual game cover :)

Am I the only crazy one that likes to swap out the eco-cases on the newer games for the older, more sturdier cases?

I think i'm sometimes a little ocd about the condition of stuff. I just hate those eco-cases! It's not like I'm throwing those cases away...  (well, now I am that they're cheap and flimsy and worthless, so maybe they're having the opposite effect)

@SpudBug:  Yea I typically don't care so much about how my game boxes look.  I'm more concerned about the spines looking uniform (which my collection doesn't).  The eco cases don't bother me at all either, that part I really don't get.

Fighters Megamix is a game I always wanted to try but never did.  My Saturn has been dead for a few years now too.  I've considered picking up Battle Fantasia since it's been deeply discounted lately.

I feel bad admitting it but I've been slowly re-buying the new 360 platinum hits because I like the packaging so much. But only if I can trade one in for as much as it would cost to re-buy new, or if I traded it in for at least that much a long time ago..

Am I nuts? I just like how they look with their sliver cases and little green band

@SpudBug:  Seriously rebuying games you already own?  Yea I'd say that's a little out of touch ;P

But that reminds me of another thing I bought this month that's almost as nuts...

(Bought the English version when it was up on Amazon Gold Box for $20 for the nearly insignificant dialog that I couldn't understand.)

Sorry for the quality( Iphone 3GS)
the games were actually last month but they're the last non-digital ones I bought.
The Opiate EP was around $7 at Hot Topic.
Got ,Earth:The Book, last week (very funny).

I beleive we had a thread like this before, but it's lost in an abyss in the forums.

The next time I buy a game,  I'll try to remember to post in this thread.

The pamphlet in the Zombrex Edition makes me think it's a Wii game.

Anyways, I just ordered some Marshmallow Fluff.  No actual picture of me holding it just yet.

It doesn't have to be just games, if you found some cool poster or something you collect or books or music or whatever. Hell, if you get a new car and want to show it off, post it here! It's just interesting to me what people collect or what they find and like.
