Gamestop just openned a new store right at York Mills and Leslie and they are selling copies of Valkyria Chronicles. They are selling the copies as used but the store owner said when he bought them he was told they were brand new. So if you want a brand new copy of a discontinued game go get it. By the way there are only two copies left.
I'm a ways south of Toronto. I searched roughly 12 video game stores including Gamestop locations months ago. No one had Valkyria Chronicles, and all stores said it's a very rare title and wished me luck finding it. Last week, while purchasing Demon's Souls, the Gamestop had roughly 5-6 copies of the game in the used section. I was baffled after what I had previously been told, plus having to resort to purchasing the game online.
We have both (EB/GS) south of Toronto. It's not even a large city, but they're scattered all over the place. I believe there's more Gamestop than EB. I remember ages ago they were called something like Babbages.
