Hey, this is the first time I have signed up for premium, so I've got a lot to catch up on! Whats the best unprofessional friday? I might start with the alexis leaving one.
Best unprofessional friday?
everyone (me included) were enamored with the recent halloween one with Pingu Jeff and Murry.
also didn't Bioforge start on UPF?
its really subjective as it depends on what games they are playing.
any involving drew playing simulators, cinny playing fmv or when they just playt retro games are all my favs.
Unprofessional Wednesday is one of my favorites, and while not actually an Unprofessional Friday, the great 2013 Freedom Stream pretty much follows the same format. The one where they play that 101 games in 1 thingy + imscared is among one of the best.
I think many of the recent ones have been pretty stale. But the one where Jeff was out somewhere and Dan played Dota 2 was brilliant! Guessing it was like 8-10 weeks ago.
This was the 9/19/14 UPF. Pretty good! For me, it's hard to beat the ones with the original GB crew (Ryan and Vinny). I love Rorie on this year's streams, though.
They're all pretty good IMO. Personally, I really liked the one where they played Second Life. Vinny is the perfect person when it comes to playing those types of games. Here's the link for that one, if you're interested.
Also, old FMV's are really good too, like others have said. This UPF in particular stands out in my memory for that reason
Well, the Dreamgear (101 games) one was already mentioned which I highly recommend.
For something a little different there's this one. I like this one because of the non-game stuff that happens (The mailbag towards the beginning and the amazing ending)

I like when they play 4-player stuff. Gang Beasts, Samurai Gun, etc.
There's so many to choose from, from the top of my head , the second life segment, dreamgear segment, ALL of vinny's FMV segments where gold. Also its too bad we don't get any "Random PC game" vids anymore
2/1/13, specifically from around the 2 hour 15 minute mark (although some good stuff before it, including Def Jam Icon). From around that 2:15 mark to the end they go through some really awful games for the old and forgotten Halcyon system. That whole portion of the show is good, but it gets really outstanding when they start watching the bonus videos included on the games and get to see how the guy who developed the system "bet everything on it" prior to release. You almost feel bad for laughing since the guy probably lost his ass on it.
The easiest way to tell which UPFs are good is to look and see which ones have the most comments. If a UPF has around 200 comments, it has to be good.
Rarely are the UPFs bad, more stale. Usually the ones that are shorter are not as good, as the crew kinda runs out of things to do. Have fun with Premium!
I don't know if I can name a specific episode, but as far as specific moments go, the Steak-umms bit was fucking incredible
the one where they play the fmv doctor game. someone else may have to post a link as i dont remember which one it is
2/1/13 (Thayer's Quest) and 2/8/13 (Lego Island) are probably my favorites overall. All of the other ones that have been suggested are great too.
Anything that involves diving into an internet hole is usually great, but I also approve of FMVinny, Simulator Drew, POG Or DOTA Dan, and the most classic one was when Alexis played iRacing with the oculus rift. Best ending to a UPF ever
The list of gems people have posted are all really really good.
When I first subscribed I went back to the very first UPF episodes (Personally, I did not go any further back as I found some of the older TNT & Happy Hour stuff just too hard to get into) and started plowing through them. I did not think I would watch them all, but trust me - you will find the time, and they are (mostly all) worth it.

THIS ONE IS THE BEST!
And it really depends on taste for UF, I find most of them boring and uneventful with an occasional game that really shines. All the Gang Beast ones are awesome as well as Mount Your Friends.
I can't think of many UPFs where there's not at least one great segment. Patrick's send-off UPF was pretty fantastic, especially the Jurassic Park fighting game. I watched the Tomadachi Life one an unhealthy amount of times. Love me some Gigu.
The older stuff tends to be a little better because of Vinny and Ryan. Oh look, I just made myself sad.

Yup, but sadly part of that episode is missing, they played plenty of other random PC games during that episode, including Die by the Sword, but that segment is unarchived.

If this is what you're talking about, I agree completely. This had me in stitches and still makes me laugh.
Unprofessional Fridays: 08/16/13 which led to this being made.
And the one where Ryan played the section of Condemned 2 with the bear.

Isn't that the Dad from 7th Heaven that was charged with molesting kids? Awkward...
Damn it, I miss Vinny on these shows...
Not a UPF but you gotta go watch the SNES party, man!
@citizencoffeecake: ah, I've never seen this before. Thanks!

Man, Drew and Jeff without the beard, like two different people.
