Deadly Premonition publisher interview

If you are a fan of D.P. you should check out this interview with the publisher. Game informer conducted the interview and these guys just love this game. Ive been watching the VJ endurance run, and there are spots that are slow, but after listening to the interview cant wait til some of these really interesting plot twists, and decisions start opening.  BTW, there are no spoilers in the interview.
 
2 things, the music from the game, which is called, 'Life is Beautiful' is at the end of the podcast, and there is a mention of a side mission the would allow VJ to gain a radio that allows you to instantly teleport to a scene instead of drive. Did VJ skip a mission, or is it possibly later? I don't know about you all, but Ive seen enough driving.
