Documentary that the bomb crew keeps referring to?

I'm at that stage of almost inflicting myself a brain aneurism by trying to remember something. These last couple of weeks on bombcasts and on some videos Jeff was talking about a documentary about a movie or a television series that's gone tits up and one of their friends is in it because he (and I think his wife) was a writer. Can anybody help me with this?
