Good games to race friends in?

Well, me and my friends are bored and we are trying to race each other to be the first to complete a game. The problem is, what game to race in? We have raced in Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire and Ocarina of Time before. You all seem knowledgeable, so I'm asking for your suggestions.

Bored? Play Persona 4, it'll take up good chunk of your time. Here's a word of advice, triangle is to skip dialogue, unless there's a rule that says you have to read everything.

I would say Demon's Souls.  Would be cool to see who would beat it first.

Dragon Age or Mass Effect, and set specifics on whether to do side quests or not.
 
Edit: Actually, Darksiders would be a great game for this, probably.
