Here's my plan to get some 360 games ported to PC

Remember all those xbox 360 games that never came to pc? Let's bring them to it!

I've taken the initiative to Tweet towards these companies:

Is this enough?

No.

We need more media attention, we need this to spread and when these companies realize that people do want to pay money for these ports, they'll start making them.

This is a very weird post.... also who in their right mind wants some other way to play Dantes Inferno?

I'd definitely play both of those games if they came to PC. Especially The Darkness 1, I have the second game on PC, but I haven't played it; I'd very much prefer to play the first game first.

It's a shame condemn 2 never made it to PC.

I don't understand why some Microsoft games came out on PC and some didn't e.g. Fable 2...

And yeah, The Darkness would be great. Recently played it on the PS3 and every combat is initiated with a noticeable hit on the frame. Playable but played Butcher Bay on the PC last year and strangle seeing the developer's newer game run so much worse.

Somebody's going to say RDR so I'll say it for them.

Who wouldn't want to bring that kind of soul-deadening frustration to new platforms?

Speaking as someone who enjoyed playing it, i found most of the difficulties to be very very easy...

No thanks, i wouldn't want to waste money or developers time porting any of those games.

If you want us to tweet towards developers to get them to port a game, please specify the name of the game and a link to the devs/pubs twitter.

I have seen elsewhere entire threads calling for individual game devs to lose their jobs. And in those people would genuinely comment 'We need to tweet this [marketing person] to make it happen!'.

I don't think I have ever seen this before, so at least something good came out of this thread. I'd say "no offence" to the OP, but this is just a jokey joke thread, right? Because I don't think this is how it works...if it did, I'm pretty sure we'd have RDR on the pc by now.

...and even if it did, I'd rather see something new from both of these developers. Starbreeze hasn't done anything since Brothers and are working on their own Project Star VR, which I hope they haven't poured too much money into, in case it flops. They've always been good with first-person games, though, so it could also potentially be something great. Not that I'm planning on getting a VR headset anytime soon...

Visceral also hasn't made anything since Dead Space 2 (Alright, I guess they made Dead Space 3...), but I guess they are working on a Star Wars project now? But apparently Fede Alvarez of Evil Dead/Don't Breathe fame is still planning on directing a live-action movie based on the Dante's Inferno game, so maybe if that's the first video game movie to earn $900 million at the box office and win an Oscar, we can expect them to remaster the game? Maybe?

What happened to our sweet sKate 4 combo? Are we not allowed to do that? Didn't get any messages from mods yelling at me...

Dante's is actually an extremely poor GoW imitation from people with no imagination and tight deadlines. Don't want it.

I doubt such an attempt will yield successful though I wish you the best of luck.
