My mother is a relapsed alcoholic, im fine with her drinking however I need to know If any of the medicines she takes would be detrimental to her health when mixed with alcohol. Who do I call/how do I find this information.
Most medicine should not be mixed with alcohol, but if it is really bad, it will have a label specifically saying not to take with alcohol on the prescription bottle. Prescription medicine also comes with paperwork detailing risks, side effects, dosage details, etc. that may mention it. It's also quite easy to look up the medicine by name online for details.
