If we wait a week wwill we be able to get the cast as one big show or will it need to be downloaded into 2, 1 hour chunks? I'd love to support the site and will once I'm gainfully employed again.

I really don't know how it will work if they are just creating a separate feed for the full 2hr podcast whats supposed to stop me giving out the the new itunes feed link. Although I have never published a podcast before so maybe their is a way.

Yeah that's what I was thinking. How would that work with Itunes? Itunes neither knows nor cares if I am a subscriber to Giant Bomb.

I really don't think they would go through the trouble of putting some kind of lock on it. So I really wouldn't be worried if the 5k subscriber are not reached.
I suppose I should rephrase that. They would post the first part to the RSS feed. I'm guessing full downloads will be done on site, since podcasts on iTunes and Zune are free, and I don't think you can charge for them. Granted, I have no clue how iTunes and Zune work with putting up content. The only way they could limit downloads would be directly from the site. So yeah, say goodbye to your RSS feeds if you're a paid subscriber.
