Indie Game - Skul: The Hero Slayer

Skul is a roguelike indie game, I played for 25 hours and reached the last boss. I was surprised how easy it feels to play and how hard it is to beat it. Here are my topline thoughts about it and links for the review:

1. It's a roguelike game, death means starting all over, be sure you like the genre.
2. RNG plays an important role in this game, you need skills and luck to beat it.
3. Even though it's out only for PC, playing with a controller is easier than playing with a keyboard.
4. The game offers more than what is charged on its price tag.

This game came across my Steam queue yesterday, and it looks a lot like dead cells. In what way is it different?
