Just bought Metal Gear Solid 4, and I've never played MGS before

I've heard that the plot is highly complex... Anyone know of some good ways to help me grasp the apparently top notch plot found in MGS 4? Ideally I'd be able to play through the other games, but I really don't have time to play them all, unfortunately.

There's like a wiki type thing on PSN.  I was in the same boat, and I read that a little bit. It's pretty complex, but it should catch you up if you are dedicated.
