Does anyone know if Giant Bomb will have a Review or a TNT of Little Big Planet 2?

Jeff will do a review, and I'm pretty sure there won't be a TNT, since the latest Happy Hour included them playing a bunch of levels from this. There's nothing stopping them from doing it, sure, but I'd be a little bummed out since I already watched them play that.

From hearing him talk about it I pretty sure it's getting a five.  I hope they'll do a TNT soon, that would be really fun to watch.

@DeeGee: That's a bummer for me actually since I've only seen them play it in the quick look. It's just kind of weird that they chose to play Civ V and board games instead of Little Big Planet 2. I'd still be excited to see more of that game even if I was able to watch the happy hour.

@RobotHamster: 4 sure. That game would be a great choice for a TNT.

There's not really a multiplayer component to the game, though.

No it wouldnt, TNT's are about getting a lot of people playing at the same time, LBP is too limited multiplayer wise.

@DeeGee: What do u mean? The online component of LBP2 is easily the biggest part.

Creating and sharing levels, sure. But not actually playing the game, and TNT is about interacting with the audience and playing with a ton of fans.

Well, it'll get 5 stars -- we can all agree on that after hearing Jeff talk about it. They'll never do a TNT for it, though. There are competitive levels in the game (Media Molecule made, or otherwise) but that's not enough to fill 2 hours of TNT. Also, having played a lot of Littlebigplanet 2 up to this point I've come across some pretty annoying bugs with the online co-op in the game. Especially the infinite-loading bug.

That said, I'd love to watch them play Littlebigplanet 2 for two hours and just dick around trying out levels. But it's not going to happen.

Yeah but they've played Starcraft 2 several times. There's not exactly alot of players that can play that game at one time.

It can have 6 players at least, I can't remember if it can do 4 vs 4? Never played much of it.

@Portis: Oh that sucks, I didn't know the multiplayer bugs were still an issue. I was hoping those wouldn't be a problem in LBP2 since I remember having all sorts of lag issues playing with friends online in the first game.

@DeeGee: I'm just saying, they've played quite a few games on TNT's that don't support that many players. So I don't necessarily think that criteria is that important to the TNTs.

Yeah but that game got about 5 minutes screentime, it was really just about the boardgame.

When I've been able to avoid the infinite-loading bug (you try and join someones game and it'll just keep loading forever -- there's a work around for it but it doesn't work all the time) the online ran great, no lag at all for me personally.

They'll iron it out I'm sure, but it's still a bummer.

I understand why they wouldn't do a LBP2 TNT because of bug/lag reasons, but I doubt it had anything to do with how many players can be in a game at one time.

I can't think of many games they did were they aren't playing with other people. Does LBP2 even let you play with other people online?

@Chabbs0: Then what about Starcraft 2? They've played that like 3 times. Having one on one matches isn't exactly involving more than 2 people at a time.

@DeeGee: lol yes. 4 players at a time. That's already more than the 1v1 matches in Starcraft 2.

Okay, okay. Point taken, fair play.
I suppose I don't know why they don't do an LBP TNT.

@Chabbs0: If I'd have to guess, it's because of how long it takes to get into a game with 3 other people....lol

@TheVideoHustler: Yeah but the thing about CIv V is that they'll never be able to complete even 1 game within the regular span of a TNT....

I would absolutely love an LBP2 TNT, I think it would be really fun if they just played a bunch of stupid, custom levels.
