Hey guys,
I'm looking for a game which title I can't remember. It is a PC game made in the early 90s (I suppose). The game featured two distinct game-play systems: A square based, tactical "world map", on which your units where placed and a 2D top-down real time view, where you played out encounters. You had a certain amount of points to buy units from (Demons, Assassins, Spell Casters) as well as items to strengthen them. The goal was to find the enemy "ring bearer" (if I remember correctly - anyway you needed to find a key piece). You moved your units in the "world map" view and used abilities as well, if you attacked an enemy piece you fought it out in real time. If anyone does know what this game was called, I'd appreciate it.
best,
