mag respec points and how do they work

(I have two question to ask any one who owns mag)

how does the respec points system works as well does it reset your skill level and take away your leadership level?

Respect points are gained as you gain experience, the experience you gain is the respec points you gain.
 
Respec resets your skills spent it does not reset your level or leadership, leadership has nothing to do with your level or the skills you use.
 
first is 2000, 5000, 10000. I have not been personally past the 3rd respect but i believe its 50k after that.

no you lose nothing it just resets your skills and gives you back all your skill points up to that point.
I'm personally gonna respect a 3rd time soon, and ignore sniper from now on, sniper being the most useless class in the game, ill be using a machine gun now since it offers more power, more fire rate, and the same distance and range that a sniper rifle does.
