Male Character of the Generation: Semifinals Group 2

Drake. Circa Uncharted 2 he was on top of the gaming world.

I think York is a legitimately great character, actually. I can't think of a more unusual protagonist in games.

John Marston is a surprisingly well done character, despite also being a Rockstar errand boy protagonist. York is charming in a way that was probably accidental, but even so, credit where it's due. No particular feelings on Drake.

I played through Deadly Premonition before the crew did.

My head says Nathan Drake, the most charming mass-murderer in videogames. But what does he know about Cat People, Ladyhwake or the CBGB? So York it is.

The apparent love of York and Deadly Premonition boggles my mind. The fact he was in this at all, much less got this far, is ridiculous to me. It's just one of those things I will never be able to understand.

There's some symbolism in how the poll results are flipping me off.

Well knowing the GB community I can't really say I'm too surprised by the result. York is a fun character though and I'm playing through Red Dead again and while I love most of it, it also stands out that John Marston is an errand boy.

For me it's Nathan Drake. I loved the first two Uncharted games, especially 2, and Drake is such a great main character cause he manages to be both charismatic and fun. That is something a lot of studios try to do: the fun and charismatic lead character but in my opinion Naughty Dog is the only studio that really nailed it. Also Nolan North. I love his silky smooth dreamy voice... oh sorry did I say that out loud?

That sounds erotic... ahah

My brain says Marston but my Heart says York.
