Most Anticipated Game for Q4 2012?

MOST ANTICIPATED GAME FOR Q4 2012?

Hello, this is Nukacherry.

Quickly, Q4 refers to September onwards.

I'm always interested in what people are looking forward to, and it doesn't necessarily have to be on the PS3, Xbox 360 or PC. This list can include iOS, Android, PSN, Xbox Live Arcade or Nintendo Store (or any other marketplace I've missed). Here's my list:

NUKACHERRY'S MOST ANTICIPATED GAMES FOR Q4 2012

1. Borderlands 2 - Borderlands is one of my favourite games of all time, and I loved it for its over-the-top violence and gameplay with awesome loot and great enemy variation (except Skags, eugh). Borderlands 2 looks like it improves on its predecessor in every way, and I can't wait to jump into Co-Op and shoot some bazillion guns! + Dubstep.

2. Hitman: Absolution - Hitman: Blood Money IS my favourite game of all time, and after waiting for so long for a sequel, this game has me very excited. The reason it gets the No. 2 spot though is simply due to worries that it might be slightly more linear than Blood Money - the whole reason Blood Money was so great was due to its freedom of choice. I'm probably worrying too much, but I don't want Absolution to ruin my impression of an exquisite series.

3. Assassin's Creed III - This game...looks so good. It's not all big Renaissance cities or dusty Jerusalem. It's in America. It's got tomahawks, bows and arrows, muskets, hoods and snowy-tree parkour. It looks awesome! And had one of the best trailers I've ever seen. I'm not a fan of the series, but this game might just change everything.

2012 is going to be a great year in gaming, and I can't wait to experience it with you all!

Games in tier 1, I have to buy on the day they come out. Tier 2, I'll wait for the review, but I bet they'll be awesome. Tier 3, I hope they're good, but I doubt it, I'll wait for them to go down to $20.

Tier 1: Halo, Borderlands, Assassin's Creed

Tier 2: NFS, Dishonored, Hitman

Tier 3: Resident Evil, Far Cry

Dishonored and Hitman: Absolution. 
 
there aren't enough good Stealth games being made but at least these two look promising.

I was thinkin about this the other day, there's a lot of great looking games coming out my wallet's gonna take a big hit. Nice choices, I'm with you on Borderlands for sure. The other two games look super awesome but I think I'd have to put Halo 4 and Dishonored on my top 3. I think. CoD surprisingly enough looks pretty great. NFS. AC3 and Hitman. Man...MAN. Videogames you guys.

I know I should be all over ACIII, but I'm actually more interested in Way of the Samurai 4 :D

And I can't wait until the few (J)RPGs for the Vita are released.

Other than that, Q1 2013 is offering more games for my taste, like Ni no Kuni or SC: Blacklist.

Persona 4 Arena...

X COM : Enemy Unknown easely, it feels like is there to fill the void left by Valkyria Chronicles and while I have no knowledge of the original game on the PC it feels like that game in some spots so I'm very excited plus is the only game that doesn't feel iterative of recent experiences , Assasins's Creed 3 looks really good too.

I am mostly looking forward to Dark Souls on the PC. I have also pre-purchased Borderlands 2, but after playing a little Borderlands again the last few weeks I am not really excited about it anymore. For some reason I am not enjoying the gameplay quite as much as I did before.

The rereleases of Marvel Vs Capcom 1, Marvel Super Heroes and Guilty Gear.

1. Assassins Creed 3

3. Hitman: Absolution

I can't really make myself excited about any upcoming games to be completely honest.

Paper Mario: Sticker Star for me. There hasn't been a tradition Paper Mario game in quit some time. Really looking forward to it.

I think my most anticipated game would be Assassins Creed III. Borderlands 2 also is up there.

Hitman and Dishonoured, and I'll see how Far Cry goes

Dishonored, Borderlands 2, Resident Evil 6, and Assassin's Creed 3 are the games I'm getting day one with no exception. Hitman: Absolution is up there but I can only get what the budget allows.
