There were so many great videos and features on Giantbomb in 2009. From the Endurance Run, Quick Looks, This Ain't No Game, Features, Mailbags and Special Events there were so many great video and article moments available to read and watch. This was the time when Giant Bomb became one of my favorite videogame websites. As 2010 approaches some of my favorite moments were:

10. Hot Dog Toaster Mailbag

You know there are many websites dedicated to covering video games on the internet but this is the only site that I've seen that has fun and posts tons of ridiculous content. Perhaps the king of these was the arrival of the Pop Up Hot Dog Toaster. Silly, irrelevant and full of burning plastic this was the moment to be there.

9.  Mythic Coke Challenge

A personal favorite among my friends and I, nothing brings a group together like trying to down cokes as quickly as possible.

8. TANG: Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li

Of all the videogame movies covered in this year's season of This Ain't No Game, I really enjoyed the SF: The Legend of Chun-Li review the most. From the mis-pronunciation of Shadowloo to the laughably ridiculous storyline this movie was a crime against the Street Fighter franchise.

7. Quick Look: Dragon Ball: Evolution

Quick Looks truly shine when they look at either big games or bad games. Definitely falling in the latter category, this poor cash tie in wasn't much of a fighting game. Or much of anything but a hilarious Quick Look.

6. Question of the Week: Karoke Party

Featuring user's submitted backgrounds and the Giant Bomb staff up to their usual antics, there's nothing like a good karaoke party. Brad sure can do a good falsetto.

5. Quick Look: Just Dance

Of all the Quick Look types on Giant Bomb the best are those featuring the split video views (usually involving Wii games). One screen would show the game while the other would show what the staff had to do. Say what you want about the Wii but it does look like they're having a good time.

4. Not Like This: Finale

The bittersweet ending to the Matrix Online saga saw Giant Bomb cause general chaos in the server, get ganked and have a hilariously look at the world of MMOs and what happens near death (turns out its a lot of dancing).

3. Behind the Scenes of the Endurance Run

Perhaps crazier than the Endurance Run itself was the leadup to Episode 50. Perhaps one of the craziest times I've seen on the website the fact that it was late, possibly lost and at a very important milestone lead to this being one of the most commented videos on the site. The only real look at how the Endurance Run (shame there was no Persona 4 podcast after episode 155) was made and the ideas of the madness behind it, it was a milestone for Giant Bomb and its followers. I'm glad Jeff and Vinny toughed it out.

2. iPhone App Commercial

When Giant Bomb was finally ready to unleash their iPhone application onto the world a commercial was released alongside it. One of the funniest informercial parodies I've seen in a long time it features the Giant Bomb staff having a great time selling their app to you.

1. Endurance Run: Episode 50

As I've detailed before the leadup to Episode 50 was long and arduous but when it finally appeared it did not disappoint. Featuring the Summer Camp scene and general sillyness it was the reward for and while there are many great Endurance Run moments (see Monopingo's compilation for the cliff notes version) none were as memorable as the wait and reward to see Episode 50.

Well those were my favorite Giant Bomb moments of 2009, what were yours?

Excellent list. Thorough job highlighting the variety of excellent video content GB had in 2009, a huge step up from 08. Let's hope this continues to progress in 2010.

Watching these brings back some great memories. Personally, I'd put the iPhone app at #1, but I forgot how great Episode 50 was. Also: No Rogue Warrior or NSMB: Wii Quick Looks?

Aw, dude. Was hoping Darkest of Days would make an appearance here. That Quick Look had me rolling.
