seems nothing has changed since ME 1. Storyline is THE most important aspect of an RPG without that the combat loot graphics dont matter.
Im giving this a pass.

It got a 9.5, sounds damn good.

We don't have any context to this at all. How was the story disappointing? Was it too short? Too long? Lame characters? Predictable plot? Or did the beginning lead into something smaller than what it originally projected?

To me the first ME had that wiz bang new tech factor so you could look past everything else. I bought it for the PC when it was on sale and it hadn't aged well in my eyes. I never get past the snow level where there are monster insect things and you have to torch a room to clear it so you can move on. I don't expect the story for 2 to be any more exciting.

I'm expecting The Dirty Dozen but in space. If ME2 delivers that, i'll be one happy gamer.

Kind of disappointing that they kept the element mining in the game.  But I'll just skip it because I could care less.  First one was fun, I'll be picking up the second.

This is why reviews should be posted in their entirety, a bullet point with no elaboration gives me fuck all apart from annoyance. That bullet point says it's abit disappointing in relation to the games hacking and mining sections, 
 
I'll be waiting on reviews from credible sources, OXM is far from that in my eyes.
