Uh.....I think the only thing to say here is HOLY SHIT. To boot, I turn 22 in January. If i magically get to finally see these amazing people live, my life will be fulfilled. This is such awesome news.

I don't know, as someone who lives in the states Canada seems pretty cool by itself.

Anyway this seems really cool even if I can't go myself.

I don't think it will be the original PS2 voice actress, probably the anime and Golden one.

Yeah, I know; I just don't need cliche anime bullshit to remind of that. Playing Golden, I've gotten used to her voice, but I'll never love it. Old Chie was soft-spoken; new Chie is nails on a chalkboard.

But hey, there's plenty of Chie to go around. Just know yours is inferior.

Nothing about the new voice screams "cliche anime bullshit." If you think it's annoying, then you think it's annoying but it's got nothing to do with anime cliches. Erin doesn't deliver it in a way to sound like a typical anime voice, she just delivers it the way she sees the character fit. Spunky, loud, tomboyish, and in your face. Besides, there's other actual "anime cliche" things in the game. The game is very anime and that's just part of what it is. I mean, it's a japanese role playing game where you summon monsters through the power of friendship.

Huh. I wonder why they chose to perform at this convention for their first U.S. concert? Happy for Mesa, but it is a weird choice. If they were going to pick only one place to perform in the U.S. I would have thought L.A., NYC, etc., to get the max amount of attendees possible.

Hmmm, school will be out in January, maaaaybe I could catch a flight down to Mesa... :)

If you watch English subs (not dubs) the anime girl voices are unavoidable. I feel like I'm in the 1984 conversion chamber where I'm being forced to write 2 + 2 = 5 and my spirit hasn't broken enough to believe it.

Just thought I'd say the tickets are on sale NOW, guys. I already ordered mine today. HURRY AND GET THEM.

@frostyryan: My friend's going apparently, which I found weird because I didn't realize she liked Persona enough to warrant that. Maybe I'll give her money and tell her to buy me something from there...

Also, I prefer old Chie as well. I liked that her voice just felt like a person talking and not somebody trying to play a character.

I live in AZ and love Persona so I thought about it, but looking at the price of two con tickets solely to get in to see this and then leave (since I really don't have any interest in an anime convention) sorta turned me off.

I'll be there. I'm flying in from Florida to see the concert. I'm hella excited.
