 I was browsing the internet, when I was supposed to be studying for finals when I came upon this:

I played a little bit of qwop a few months ago and couldn't get very far on it.  While a frustrating game, I'm not sure if this deserves to be called a meme.  I just wanted to ask the community to give there feedback on qwop as a meme, and qwop overall.  What are some of your records?  My best is around 25 metres or so (not great, but not bad).

I can't play QWOP for crap but I probably just need to put more time into getting the hang of it (never going to happen). QWOP is certainly a unique piece of game design but I think calling it a meme is going a bit far.

QWOP is easy when you know how to play it right. And no, I wouldn't call it a meme, but I'm not going to stop other people calling it that if they want to.

Did I win? First time playing it. 
Took about ten minutes, because I was able to drag my forward foot forward and slide on my knee to literally inch myself across the track xD 
 
The runner may have no skin left on his knee, but at least he's a national hero :D

I reached 22 meters. It's hard but not impossible. Start with W and O and then Q and P. It requires strict timing.

I saw an animated gif on SA of qwop being played flawlessly, and the text "haters gonna hate" which certainly supports the case for it being a meme. It was on the YOSPOS pics thread though.
