As petty as this might sound, it's not very intuitive. I have to click twice to bring up my account settings/replied to threads. It's a pretty horrid way to integrate it into the website, but hey; whatevs. /back to watching P4 ER.

If you click the X, then it shrinks so you just see your username in the lower right corner. You can access your profile from there. "
Why is everyone assuming the OP is an idiot? He/She has eyes. He has almost certainly clicked on the X. Wants the bar completely gone. That should be obvious.

Yeah, that annoys the hell out of me, I can't believe Google hasn't included an option to make it static. Then again, Chrome isn't exactly option-rich in the first place, that's probably what annoys me most about it.
