Shenmue Endurance Run?

Now I'm not suggesting this should actually be the game they play for the next endurance run. I'm sure whatever the Giant Bomb staff decide will be amazing and I cannot wait. Although Hypothetically, wouldn't be awesome if Shenmue was chosen. It's a very interesting game that could be a good potential candidate for an endurance run, and not many people may have played it or know about it. I know there is a lot of very crappy voice acting throughout, but it often results in hilarity. I'd like to know what your reactions would be if the endurance run happened to be about Shenmue?

It may make for good content, but I doubt it'll happen. Probably because it's too old.

As much as I love Shenmue, I have to say no. Ryan played it back in the day, and aside from Vinny (no clue if he played it), I don't think anyone else in the GB office would enjoy playing it. And there's no point if Ryan has already played it, and no one else would like it.

I think they'd go for interesting and not purely obscure and Japanese. Obscure Japanese games tend to be interesting but Shenmu isn't interesting.

I played and loved Shenmue back when it came out. I don't know if the boys could handle it though. Vinny and Ryan could probably have fun with the horrible voice acting, choppy fighting mechanics, and "QTE's". Brad would most likely just shit all over it like it the Dreamcast retro QL. Don't know about Jeff.
