Top 5 - Video Game Intro's

First i wanna say that with every top 5 i just choose the things that i remember the best and i think are the best. maybe i am totally wrong or forgetting something key. please tell me that in the comments 
 

5. Red Alert 2

I Know what you think, Yeah the game was awesome but what was the intro. Not only was the install really fun because of a briefing but also the intro was great. In this intro the U.S.A. is getting attacked by soviet aggressors, with fighting or whit peace. Not is the Humor in the game really visible but also the craziness of the intro makes this deserve his place in the top 5 

4. Final Fantasy VIII

Personally i did not play this game much, but i remember the intro. i was at a friends house and he just picked up FF VIII, So he puts it in and we see this and think OMG this game is awesome. After that i left but still the music combined whit the camera makes this intro top 5 material.

3. Dead or Alive Xtreme Beach Volleyball 2

Creepy, Yes!. but still it looks kinda great for the time. its not only that this intro did something no intro did. but also they just made a intro that everybody who watches it thinks OMG did they really make this. Thats why this is number 3 on this list. 

2. The Beatles: Rockband

You Probably still remember this trailer. E3 09 Microsoft Press Conference. you where watching online and waiting till it would begin. then everything went black and this trailer rolled. and it was great. not only did this trailer sell me on the game. but i also did what many people could not do. make me listen and enjoy the Beatles.

Just a quick correction, the Final Fantasy intro you have is of Final Fantasy VIII, not VII. Personally, I'd probably have to had put Mega Man 2 in there somewhere, but nice list nonetheless

I'm not proud of this, but I popped a boner watching the Dead Or Alive one.

I popped a boner during the Beatles  Rockband. That was one cool video.

I liked the first Fallout, and there wasn't much to Planescape from what I remember, but the fact that your character was in a morgue was pretty entertaining.

The beatles = better than you

The Beatles is a pretty great choice. It's one of the few memorable intros this generation. Whenever I think about game intros, I can't help but go back to Namco's late 90's work. Soul Blade's intro may not be as exciting as I remember it, but it's still pretty damn epic.  
 

i always enjoyed the super smash bros melee intro
 

  Homeworld Intro>All

I call shenanigans. The original Ninja Gaiden is the best game intro ever.
 
 

Wow people am I the first one to post this, this should be mandatory number one for every list like this.

I never really thought about the SF4 intro all that much, but it's an extreme exaggeration of the visual style of the actual game (focus attacks in particular), so it does really fit well.
 
While I wasn't a huge fan of the game overall, I was most impressed with the opening of GTA IV.  It really set up the whole narrative and made the beginning of the game very exciting:

Also GTA IV its a good intro but not as good too make the top 5 i think

I really like Persona 4's  

Persona 4 has a great intro 
i never saw kindom hearths intro 
and mass effect 2 the Launch trailer is great but the intro is good but not better than the rest

Of course everyone's going to point out the ones they think you missed. 
 
You missed out Dawn of War! 
 

I'm all for Half Life 1. The first actually interactive intro I experienced. I Loved the ride with the small train along all these stations you will later have to pass again.

  Wind Waker was very cool!

  I wish all the Metroid Prime games were as spacey as is the intro to the first game.

Who could forget Onimusha 3? that intro was friggin great
