I have never rented a game but there are a lot of really good full price SP games I want to play which I know I would only play once over a week or weekend.

I live in the uk and want to know what the going rate is on renting games and where you can go to rent them.

I can't even remember where I used to rent them; from a shop, though, not online that much I can recall. Haven't rented anything in years.

When I had a subscription I was pleased with Tesco. But both Boomerang and Lovefilm have been highly recommended to me.

LoveFilm are excellent. But they dont have an exclusive games package, it's games and DVDs.

I use SwapGame so far they've been pretty decent in sending me games that are fairly recent and they allow for 1 game a month for £4.99 which is just a nice add on to buying games myself.

LOVEFiLM are what I use. £15 for unlimited 2 disc (film or game) rentals a month, and you can stream certain films for free as part of your package. I've had 30 game discs through and only one was unplayable, so they're fairly reliable.

I used SwapGame for years but they started getting really slow sending out new stuff for me. Now I'm on Lovefilm. I think it's the £18.99-a-month package for 3 games at a time, and they're really good so far. They just thrown me a free extra disc rental as well for reasons unknown to me, but hey I wasn't gonna complain!

If I ever do, which is rare, I just pop down to my local blockbuster. I don't want a monthly fee really.
