For some reason guitars for RB3 aren't available in Canada...will my original guitar work if I pick up RB3

Yesarooni. I think the only guitar you'd need exclusive for Rock Band 3 is the pro guitar.

Yeah, the newest 5 button guitars they made were the Beatles: Rack Band guitars. Though, If you got one of the RB2 or newer wireless guitars it has a calibration sensor built into it so you don't have to calibrate manually.
