"OAK PARK, Mich. (AP) — Authorities say a Detroit man whose body was found near the top of a 1,100-foot TV tower clad only in underwear and a T-shirt committed suicide.
Police in Oak Park tell The Daily Tribune of Royal Oak that workers found the body of 23-year-old Lashar Gallap on Tuesday after they scaled the tower to make repairs.
An autopsy shows that Gallap died of blunt force trauma after apparently jumping from high on the tower and landing on a gate. "
A little suspicious, considering that when he was found they found no sign of violence on the body, and a fall of a few hundred feet would have created a gory scene... Regardless, RIP Mr. Gallap. I hope you are the only case like this, and some plucky Detroit high-schoolers have already nipped this in the bud.
