You know it's going to be a 5 out of 5.
Why are people so excited for jeff's review?

@jimmyfenix: and you didn't need to post anything.
I like Jeff's reviews I feel he is as honest as someone will get even if I don't agree with his reviews sometimes I feel he does a good job of getting his point across.
Because the previous game is what got him fired from GameSpot.
that was Kane and Lynch.

People are excited? Who? Why do they need validation from anyone about this game?
I have seen literally no one (aside from the thread title's presumption) display anticipation or excitement about Jeff's review of GTA 5. Who are these people who cannot wait to debate whether they agree with Jeff's score or not?
Aren't we all in agreement that while Jeff is a good writer, his tastes are so weirdly specific to him (doesn't like Metroid Prime, doesn't like Red Dead Redemption, does like Trackmania, does like Burnout Paradise which is a good game but not as AMAZING as Jeff makes it out to be) that his reviews just aren't a useful opinion to most of the site readers? Sure, sometimes he'll do something interesting, liking being basically the only reviewer to say "Nope, I just never came around on Catherine's weird gameplay", which then gets him a lot of flack. So he can take some bold stances on stuff, but his reviews of games pretty much don't influence me because the criteria he judges games by sometimes seem insane relative to my own.
@bisonhero: read jeff's twitter
@jz: Jeff rates up Gta real high. i know you say you werent the biggest fan of GTA 4 (which is fine, to each their own) this is what he said about gta 4 before the review

The story is what I came to see. And I’m having trouble putting my feelings for this game’s story into words right now. I’ll spare you the fumbling and just say that it’s probably the greatest game story of all time, both in content and how it’s integrated into the rest of the game.All those early reviews, where everyone tossed out the highest score they could give, left me scratching my head a bit in the game’s early hours. But I get it now. I understand.
Well I'm quite excited to read the words to be honest, not the numbers. Because it's nice to read words from people I respect.
@bisonhero: I'm excited for it because I like the way Jeff writes reviews and it will be a comprehensive read about a game that I'm really excited about and want to learn more of.
@chaser324: it just seems a bit flowery or serious for a game. Theres my problem I don't like serious games.
